Workshops

There are a variety of conferences held during the year that teachers should be aware of. The Arkansas Geographic Alliance conducts workshops and there are state, regional, and national workshops that may be of interest to practicing teachers and teacher candidates. The Alliance is committed to assisting teachers in attending workshops where possible. If there is a workshop you may be interested in attending, contact the AGA leadership to inquire about assistance. Dates for workshops will be shown here when they are known:

ArcGIS is interactive mapping software that is free to every school in the US.  Students love it for projects and reports.  Demonstrations will include links to registering and learning modules.
